1. The Final Week of Legacy Pricing
On February 1st, subscription rates will increase to $9.99/month ($99.99/year). This has been communicated since November to support the added research time and data tools that help support this Substack. I am committed to maintaining the $9.99 price forever to ensure this Substack remains accessible.

2. The Launch of the Fundamentally Sound Discord
This week, I sent out a poll to readers and I appreciate everyone that gave feedback. There is still time if you haven’t. I would appreciate you taking 1 minute of your time to contribute to the direction of this substack!
I have received several requests about a discord and the poll came back with 55% requesting. I am officially launching our private Discord community today to move us from “reading” to “doing”.
There will be a FREE and PAID section of this discord. We are entering the thick of earnings season and now is a great time for us to connect and discuss things in real time.

As the Executive Director of a small business non-profit, my goal has always been to make high-quality research accessible.
My recent poll showed that 38% of you find that price a barrier. To address this, I am officially opening the Founding Supporter tier ($250/yr).
A “Pay-it-Forward” Model: This is purely voluntary tier for those who want to support the Substack at a deeper level.

It’s been a busy week - the recent snowstorm left me working from home with toddlers, so some of my writing plans got pushed back. However, I’ve been busy:
